Trinity Writers Workshops

All our workshops use the familiar “writers workshop critique” method.
Writers have the opportunity to explore all forms of writing from fiction to non-fiction to poetry to journaling, memoirs and more. The focus is on compelling storytelling and the celebration of self-expression through writing with coaching, group discussion, and writers sharing ideas and observations  with fellow writers in a supportive environment.
Our method is inspired by a favorite muse, Flannery O’Connor, who said: “I write to discover what I know.”
Our approach is reflected in Elmore Leonard’s sage advice: “I can’t allow what we learned in English composition to disrupt the sound and rhythm of the narrative.”
Our goal for you is to fulfill Wordsworth’s ideal to “fill your paper with the breathings of the heart.”
